There is a great power in praise and thanksgiving! Praise to the Lord acknowledges who He is and what He does is always appropriate, and it is always beneficial. By following the example set forth in Psalm 9, every Christian can give thanks to the Lord for his abundant mercy. There are several approaches that our praise and thanksgiving can take.
- The desire for praise
- I will tell of all thy wonders
- I will be glad and exalt
- I will sing praise
- The direction of praise
- Praise for protection
- Praise for the rebuke of God
- to the nations
- to individuals
- Praise for the triumph of righteousness
- The durability of praise
- We can always praise the Lord
- He abides forever
- He is a righteous judge
- He is a stronghold for the weak
- He is worthy of all our trust
- We can always praise the Lord
We can always praise the Lord, in good times, in bad times, when praise comes easily, when praise comes with effort. We praise because of who He is, not because of who we are.
