II Peter 1:1-8
As we go about our daily activities, it becomes easy to take for granted the benefits that God has given us as His children. We have had the privilege of fellowship with the Lord. We have experienced His salvation. We can easily forget what it was like not to walk with the Lord.
In the Scripture we have read, two things are pointed out to us as precious. We have chosen to call them Heavenly Twins. This epistle is written to them who have obtained precious faith. Our faith is precious not because it belongs to us.
