One of the delightful things in our Christian experience is to observe God’s faithfulness in ever area of life. The Lord has given many promises. Through the promise of this Scripture, we can learn that everyone can share in the faithfulness of God as we give to His cause.
We are invited to put the Lord to the test of His promise.
- God’s promise “I will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing until there is no more need.”
- No room to contain it
- All of God’s resources will be directed to us
- In super abundance
- How shall it be? He will take what we have and make it produce more.
- Our part “Bring the whole tribe into the storehouse, so that there will be food in my house.”
- Proportionate giving
- Correct attitude (so that there is no lack in God’s house)
- The rule
- No one ever lost by giving to God nor gained by withholding from Him.
Thus everyone can experience the faithfulness of God through our giving.
