A mother is God’s greatest creation! A mother loves God, the Bible, beauty, and her family. She teaches daily by precept and example the wonder of salvation, the truth of God’s Word, and the meaning of true love. A mother is God’s greatest explanation of His love. At Sunday School, at home, at play, she gives to her children the best introduction to God.

Consider with me for a few minutes the power in the life of Naomi and Ruth.

  • Ruth, a Moabite, came to know God
  • By the influence of an individual living Godly, Naomi lived for God in a strange land

Billy Graham was asked whether he had ever seen anyone who lived a Christian life at all times. He said, “Yes, my wife.”

    • One of the world’s greatest influences is through example
  • By teaching
    • Godly living is not all learned through the eye; it is also learned through the mind

  • Choice of Naomi’s God
  • Choice of Naomi’s manner of life

It is only the power of Godly living in the home that will reverse the tide of ungodly evil that is prevailing in our country today. A mother’s influence is powerful.
