Why has the Lord given us knowledge of His return?
- That we may be alert (verse 8)
- With the armament of God (full list in Ephesians 6:14)
- With a hope (verse 10)
- That we may assist one another (verse 11)
- Encourage
- Build up
- That we may conduct ourselves properly (verses 14-15)
- Admonish
- Encourage
- Be patient
