Why has the Lord given us knowledge of His return?

• That we may be alert (verse 8)
  • With the armament of God (full list in Ephesians 6:14)
  • With a hope (verse 10)
• That we may assist one another (verse 11)
  • Encourage
  • Build up
• That we may conduct ourselves properly (verses 14-15)
  • Admonish
  • Encourage
  • Be patient
