John 11:17-29

Because of the promise of Jesus, we can believe in the resurrection.

1. Because of Jesus’ words (verses 26-26)
   • Jesus is the source.
   • Resurrection is our hope.
2. Because of Jesus’ power demonstrated in Lazarus’ resurrection (verses 40-44)
   • If Jesus could raise Lazarus, He can raise everyone.
   • Lazarus was restored for a time, our resurrection will be for all time.
