John 14:2-3

Every Christian can live with anticipation toward the future because of Jesus’ promise. By claiming the promises of Jesus in John 14:2-3, every Christian can live with anticipation toward the future.

1. Christ is preparing a new home for us.
   • “I go to prepare a place for you.”
     • Glorious place.
     • A permanent place.
2. Christ is to return to bring us to our new home.
   • “I will come again to receive you to my self that were I am there you may be also.”
     • A solid promise.
       • Just as certainly as he went, he will return.
     • A joyous experience.
       • The presence of Jesus every day.
       • A permanent dwelling.
