Psalm 37:1-11

Every Christian can be held securely in the power of God against his “enemies.”

1. Look at the condition of the person who does not trust the Lord.
   • Withered (verse 2)
   • Cut off (verse 9)
   • God laughs at him (verse 13)
2. Look at the condition of the person who trusts the Lord.
   • Great gifts. (verses 4 & 5)
   • Rest. (verse 7)
   • We are sustained. (verse 17)
   • Way is prepared by the Lord. (verse 23)
   • Protected. (verse 24)
   • Never forsaken. (verse 25)
3. How is this life of trust manifested? (verses 3-5)
   • Trust.
   • Delight.
   • Commit
