I Corinthians 10:13

Every Christian has the means of overcoming temptation.

1. The resource of God’s promise
   • God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able.
   • God said, that is enough!
2. The resource of His provision
   • With the temptation will provide a way of escape.
     • When the temptation becomes too heavy, He has built in an escape mechanism.
3. The resource of His power
   • Provide a way of escape that you may be able to bear it.
     • He doesn’t promise to remove the temptation but give you strength to endure it.
     • God has a purpose in allowing us to face temptation, trials of faith bring peaceable fruits of righteousness.
