Jeremiah 1:4-10

Everyone can serve the Lord in our chosen field.

By heeding the truths presented to Jeremiah, everyone can serve the Lord in his chosen field. There are several assurances of this presented in this text.

1. The Assurances of the call.
   • God knows us.
     1. Therefore, He knows our capabilities.
   • He consecrates us for service.
   • Appoints our work.
2. The Assurance of His presence.
   • Overcomes inexperience (verse 7).
     1. I am just a youth.
   • Overcomes fear (verse 8).
   • Overcomes speechlessness (verse 9).
