Things to keep in mind when reading these words:
- Paul was in prison in Rome
- There was no apparent way in which he was going to be freed
His assurance
I am not ashamed
- Of Gospel
- Of bonds
I am convinced
- He had entrusted everything to the Lord (see Philippians 3:7-11)
When facing challenges and emergencies but having placed our trust in Jesus we need not fear.
I searched for some to stand in the breach.
