Who is Jesus?
- He is chosen by God (Isaiah 42:1-4)
- He was anointed by the Spirit
- He will have success
- Justice is the primary concern of His ministry (Isaiah 42:1 & 4)
- His ministry has an international scope (Isaiah 42:6)
- God predestined Him to His calling (Isaiah 49:1)
- His ministry extends to the Gentiles (Isaiah 49:6)
- The servant encounters strong opposition and resistance to His teaching; even a physically violent encounter (Isaiah 50:4-6)
- He determined to finish what God called Him to do (Isaiah 50:7)
- The servant has humble origins, with little prospect of success (Isaiah 53:1-2)
- He experiences suffering and affliction (Isaiah 53:3)
- The servant accepts suffering on behalf of His people (Isaiah 53:4-6 & 12)
- He is put to death after being condemned (Isaiah 53:7-9)

Jesus is all the Scriptures claim Him to be. He is the Son of God and Savior of the world, not just a good person or prophet.
