We have been following Paul and his associates through the third missionary journey largely to visit the churches that had been established on previous trips. We are coming close to the conclusion of this final excursion for the beloved Apostle.

- After spending a three-year period in Ephesus, Paul began to move among the churches more quickly. There are several stops in Macedonian locations before moving into Greece notably to Corinth

- To encourage the churches
- To collect money to be taken to Jerusalem for relief of the Christians there. I Corinthians 16:1-4
- He spent the winter of 56-57 A.D. in Corinth where he wrote the books of Romans (Romans 15:25)
- Back to Troas (Acts 20:5-12)
- They remained for a week
- Breaking bread – worshipping which included communion service
- Teaching – during this time the incident of Eutycus falling from the window occurred (Acts 20:8-12)

- On the move again (Acts 20:13-16)
- First to Assos and then to Miletus
- Paul walks
- He desired solitude to seek guidance from the Lord on his continued work
- When he rejoined his associates, he had guidance to return to Jerusalem
- He chose not to return to Ephesus
