Today we are learning more about Saul of Tarsus. He was present at the stoning of Stephen and influenced by Stephen’s testimony. Saul is his Hebrew name which means desired. Later his name is changed to Paul which means little. One of the ancient writers states that Paul was of small stature, approximately four and a half feet tall.

We are able to observe through Saul’s experiences what happens to a person through conversion. Conversion by its very definition means change. The change in Saul is seen instantly and dramatically.
II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:The old has gone, the new is here!”
Saul’s life certainly demonstrates that truth in a very dynamic way.
